Stamped Parts with a high specific punching edge length have a decrease of the magnetic characteristics.

The increase of the specific losses can be measured

• off-line in the laboratory or
• in-line after a punching machine in production

In the pictures a yoke is shown for the off-line investigation of packages from E-laminations. In the special case packages up to a length can be examined by 60mm. The hysteresis losses are determined.
